How this is calculated. Projects won is projects sent times hit rate, rounded to a whole project. Contract value is projects won times average size times material price. Your margin is contract value times margin. Return is margin minus plan cost, divided by plan cost, so a 5x return means you keep five dollars for every dollar spent on the plan, after paying for it.
Design assist, when your customer asks for a DD or CD model, is scoped separately on either path and is not included here.
